Our polymer granules to aid in moisture retention, sprinkle them over the soil in approximately 1 tablespoon per every 6.8 square feet or 8 oz. per 300 square feet, then scratch them in with a rake. These granules are great for keeping the moss moist while it is establishing, and prevents it from drying out as easily on a long term basis.
