Wow! We still can hardly believe our good fortune in the fact that when we were merely in search of a good winter milker, we were able to obtain this beautiful doe. We asked ,Karen Smith, owner of Lady-K Farm in Cedar Hill Tennessee, if she knew of anyone who had any milking does for sale, she didn't at first. But after considering the fact that she has kept five of True Love's babies for herself, she decided to offer True Love to us. This doe appraised with an E in mammary. She placed in the Nationals two years in a row, and her daughters are already placing as well. She has the best disposition imaginable. Since we brought her home, she has not kicked one time during hand milking, and is most gentle and affectionate. She is not a large doe, but gracefully correct in every way. Thank you for trusting us with her Karen!

WE ARE IN LOVE WITH THIS LARGE, EASY-GOING GIRL. SHE HAS A WONDERFUL V WITH A NICE HEART SHAPED UDDER. SHE HAS WE PAIRED HER WITH GOLD-MININ' AND GOT A GORGEOUS SET OF TWINS. WE ARE RETAINING THE DOELING, AND PLAN TO DO THE SAME BREEDING AGAIN. SHE IS DRY IN THIS PHOTOGRAPH.

THIS FIRST FRESHENING DOE IS PERFECT IN EVERY WAY. SHE HAS A BEAUTIFUL UDDER THAT GIVES APPROX. 1 GAL. + A CUP OR TWO A DAY, IT IS LEVEL, PRETTY AND SO IS SHE. SHE HAS A WONDERFUL PERSONALITY JUST AS HER MOTHER. THE TOP PHOTO IS AFTER SHE IS DRYING OFF. THE LOWER IS OF HER STILL FRESHENED.

THIS IS A DOE WHO HAS GREAT PASTERNS, AND A LEVEL, HIGH PRODUCING TWO UDDER THAT JUST ABOUT WON'T QUIT. SHE IS INTELLIGENT AND VERY FEMININE. WE HAVE RETAINED ONE OF HER YEARLING DAUGHTERS, AND SHE HAS BEEN BRED BACK DUE TO KID MAY 28, 2009.SHE HAS A NICE REAR UDDER THAT CAN'T BE SEEN IN THIS PHOTO DUE TO DRYING OFF AND THE FACT THAT SHE WANTS TO PUSH OUT AND FORWARD WHEN HOLDING HER CHAIN.

Annie is our wonderful doe with the most willingness to milk. Not just in length of lactation, but answers to her name at all times. She loves attention, and keeps everyone else in check by giving their ear a good yank if they break line during milking. She is not a large doe, but gave birth to our largest doeling , this year,(who was a twin by the way). She is very feminine in appearance, and has a beautiful long neck. She doesn't have what is considered a show udder, but milks 13lbs. a day consistently. She can make hand-milking experiences much easier than one that does. honey_rear

Nutmeg is an eye-catching Nubian doe weighing 250 lbs. She is bred to Rusty for March 2007. She has good body depth, and what looks to be promising udder attachment.
